Junction House Women’s Sober Living NARR & PARR Accredited

Junction House is now officially a member of the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR) and the Pennsylvania Alliance of Recovery Residences (PARR).

Sober living options and experiences have changed vastly. There is an abundance of individuals seeking sober living homes and recovery residences after drug rehab. Unfortunately, quantity of sober livings does not guarantee quality of care in the world of addiction services. Today, there are certifying bodies that oversee how sober homes and addiction recovery facilities are run. When considering a sober living facility, it is important to ask if they are accredited.

Junction House is proud of our new designations with the National Alliance for Recovery Residences (NARR). The mission of NARR is “to support persons in recovery from addiction by improving their access to quality recovery residences through standards, support services, placement, education, research and advocacy.” Junction house is equally honored to be a member of  the Pennsylvania Alliance of Recovery Residences (PARR). PARR’s vision is “all persons in recovery from addiction having access to the recovery support they need to live happier, healthier lives. NARR values hope, compassion, respect, honesty, responsibility, and fairness.”

Now that Junction House has received it’s accreditation from the Pennsylvania Alliance of Recovery Residences and the National Alliance for Recovery Residences, their sober homes and recovery residences must uphold certain standards and codes of ethics. Sober living homes certified by affiliates of these organizations will randomly do spot checks to ensure the owners are actually providing the recovery services they indicate.
