ADDICTION & MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT RESOURCES
Local, statewide & national resources for those needing information relating to drug/alcohol addictions, mental illness, treatment, etc.
No matter who you are or what you’re going through, the world of substance abuse and mental illness can seem dark, and filled with endless questions. The one constant we can assure you of is that no two people or families are ever truly the same, There are definitely similarities we all share, but beyond that each sufferer is unique.
Over the past 15 to 20 years there have been many advancements in the treatment of addictions and mental illness. Likewise, it has been discovered that a substantial percentage of addicts & alcoholics are actually dual-diagnosis, meaning that they also suffer from underlying mental illnesses like, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, anxiety & panic disorders, etc, They call these co-occurring disorders.
The fact is, no matter what your level of expertise may be within the field of mental health services, you can never have too many resources available.
Junction House provides this list of resources as nothing more than a community resource, and not as an endorsement of any kind.
